  • We serve foster and kinship families in the state of Oklahoma.

  • Visit our CONTACT page on this website, and there you will see a link to our online request form.

  • Although we sometimes partner with local churches and agencies to help deliver items in the OKC metro area, we usually ship new articles directly to your shipping address.

  • Our board of directors determines our organization's annual program budgets and depends on successful fundraising efforts. As a result, the availability of assistance may vary from year to year. If you are caring for a new foster child or one we haven't assisted in the past six months, you may request items for that child. However, suppose you are requesting items for a foster child we've already helped. In that case, we generally ask that at least six months pass before making another request. Please note that there may be exceptions to these guidelines.

  • We offer a range of new essentials including car seats, beds, cribs, mattresses, diapers, wipes, formula, high chairs, strollers, and more. We are also flexible to accommodate any additional needs of the family.

  • We aim to process requests and order items within 48 hours of receiving them. However, Bright Sky may need additional time for verification with caseworkers. Once we have placed the order, the company we ordered from, such as Amazon or Walmart, will handle the shipping. Families can expect to receive their requested items within 4-7 days from the time of the request.

  • When filling out our request form, there is a section where you can add extra information, such as any allergies or specific sizes you may need. It is possible to request a particular brand, but keep in mind that availability and budgets may limit our ability to fulfill that request. Bright Sky strives to provide items with a proven track record and positive reviews.

  • At Bright Sky, we have a weekly limit for the number of children we can assist. Our yearly budgets, donations, and fundraising efforts determine this limit. Once we reach the weekly limit, our request form will be closed until Monday at 7 AM. However, in case of an emergency while the form is closed, you may email us, and we can provide exceptions.

  • Thank you for considering us, but we cannot accept used items. We ship almost all of our items brand new. This approach helps us to keep our costs low, acquire specific items (such as allergy formulas, special sizes, and appropriately sized car seats), and expand our delivery coverage.

  • Bright Sky Ministry is based in Edmond, OK, but we operate virtually without a physical location. This approach allows us to save on rent and storage fees and allocate our funding toward providing items to foster families directly. Additionally, we can offer our assistance anywhere in the state.

  • Our mission to be the most accessible resource for essentials and support for foster families is made possible by the generosity of our individual and corporate donors. We hold two main fundraisers each year: the Gala in the spring (which is new this year) and The Bright Sky Open golf tournament in the fall. Our board of directors is essential in helping us with budgeting, fundraising, and program development.
