Meet our Team

LEAD VOLUNTEER

Jessica is one of Bright Sky Ministry's founding members and leads its core of Essentials volunteers. She is a Faith Bible Church member and is passionate about serving others. Jessica is a practicing nurse in Oklahoma City.

ESSENTIALS VOLUNTEER

Carla joined Bright Sky in 2020 as an Essentials Volunteer and assists with fundraising events. She is passionate about foster care and helping those in need.

ESSENTIALS VOLUNTEER

Marva worked as a retirement analyst for the Oklahoma Public Retirement System until she retired in 2017. Her favorite hobbies include crafting, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She was delighted to discover Bright Sky Ministry and to have the chance to volunteer.

ESSENTIALS VOLUNTEER

Inspired by Bright Sky Ministry’s mission, Keri joined the team in 2019. She volunteers as an Essentials Volunteer and coordinates fundraising events. She has a background in nutrition as a dietitian and currently owns a baking and yoga business.

ESSENTIALS VOLUNTEER

Michelle joined the Bright Sky Ministry team in 2022. She was inspired by Bright Sky’s mission to support Oklahoma’s foster parents and children.

PRESIDENT

Mark leads a large-enterprise division for Google. He has 30 years of experience running large organizations and is a native Oklahoman. He has been a foster parent and a Safe Family volunteer and mentor. Impacted deeply during a kinship placement, Mark has a heart for our at-risk youth in Oklahoma.

VICE PRESIDENT

Cliff is a private practice anesthesiologist in Oklahoma City since 2015. He is a native Oklahoman and very passionate about making a better life for foster children.

TREASURER

Greg Jones is a Certified Public Accountant and is the Market Leader for the Oklahoma City and Norman offices of Eide Bailly LLP. Greg grew up in Edmond and attended college at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Greg has been active in various nonprofits but is especially inspired by Bright Sky's mission to help children in foster care.

SECRETARY

Josh is currently the CEO of HiVolt Energy. He has 20 years of experience developing and operating businesses focused on energy markets. In 2014, Josh founded the Pipeliners Club of Oklahoma City, where he served for four years as president and chairman of the board. Josh continually strives to support organizations making a positive impact on the community.

Misty enjoys learning. She is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, Texas A & M University, and the University of Oklahoma College of Law. As an attorney, Misty partners with nonprofit organizations through formation advice and general consulting. Misty is a fan of her three kids, her husband, great stories, people, and Diet Coke. She loves helping people discover what makes them special and watching them share that with the world. She is excited to serve with Bright Sky to provide essentials to foster and kinship families in Oklahoma.

FOUNDER, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Justin is one of Bright Sky Ministry's founding members and has been the Executive Director since 2018. Justin is a private practice anesthesiologist working in Oklahoma City since 2010. He strives to ensure the foster care system is supported and foster families know they are loved.
